I think I wrote this little bio freshman year of high school (8ish years ago) and I don’t have the heart to change it. I did always have fun crossing out my year in school every new school year, I liked how it showed how long I’ve had the blog. It started off as a way to keep track of books I read so I can look back at my thoughts later on, though I’ll admit that looking back at reviews I wrote in high school is the absolute worst. I cringe every time. Please don’t read them.
Hello, everyone! My name is Shouni! I’m a Muslim Bangladeshi-American living in the beautiful (and way too crowded) city of Atlanta. Shouni is short for Shounima (Show-nee-maa) and no it doesn’t mean anything as far as I know. (My mom told me she found the name in a book so I guess I was bound to become a bookworm). I am a
high school sophomore junior senior college freshman sophomore junior senior? who’s obsessed with books (obviously), mainly Young Adult novels. This blog is basically a way for me to keep track of the books I read and look back on my thoughts/reviews in the future. And of course to interact with the wonderful bloggers in this community.
I’ll rate the books on a scale from 1 to 5; half points will be given if I can’t decide on a whole number. Which, for my indecisive self, happens quite a lot.
Other things I love: writing, Bollywood movies, coding, purple, doodling, superheroes and superpowers, Chinese food, free time, Disney songs.
